Dr Aya Bennagi
Move to Canada in 2008 to pursue post graduate degree in Dentistry, I received MSc in Dental science from McGill University in 2015. During my study at McGill I was doing self-study to prepare for Dental Qualification exams, I received my NDEB certificate in 2014
I registered with Royal college of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and practiced for 1 year. I attend many continuing education courses at McGill University and University of Toronto. My time in Ontario was short but rewarding both professionally and personally.
I then moved to Nunavut and practiced for 3 1/2 years providing dental treatments for residents of Iqaluit and other communities in Baffin Island. I really enjoyed treating the children of Nunavut best. The northern communities of Canada hold many wonders and adventures and I am so happy i was able to experience this part of our country.
My family and I chose Calgary to be our next adventure destination in Canada, it's an amazing city where i'm happy to raise my family and meet new people. My children love Calgary and everything it has to offer - I feel like we have really found our home.
What I like most being a dentist? I love and I feel so satisfied when I be a reason to relieve other’s pain or improve their smile and boost their self-esteem
I will be back at No.7 Dental on May 21, 2021 after taking time off to have my 3rd child. I am excited to see all my patients again.
